About Me

A Successful Spring Outdoor Party

I grew up on a small ranch in the southern United States. My family’s home was situated on over 70 acres of land. During the warm weather months, I enjoyed inviting my friends over for parties. We would play games of volleyball and badminton in my backyard. Afterwards, we would enjoy a hearty meal of grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, potato chips, and cookies. Those parties were some of the most memorable ones of my lifetime. Now that I have a home of my own, I’d like to start planning some festive outdoor parties. In order to recreate the fun I had years ago, I need to purchase some sports supplies such as a volleyball net, a volleyball, and some badminton rackets. On this blog, you will discover the essential sports supplies to buy in order to host a successful spring outdoor party.

Baseball Picks: Top Pitching Prospects To Watch

With the 2022 Major League Baseball season still in limbo with continued labor disputes, now is the time to capitalize on weak markets for top baseball picks.

Here are some prospects to watch when making baseball picks right now.

Rookie of the Year Favorites

The 2022 MLB season will feature some of the most anticipated rookies in recent memory. When making baseball picks on rookie of the year, keep your eye out for these players.

  • Cristhian Vaquero: the 5-tool Dominican outfielder, Vaquero is both fast and powerful. If he can make his Nationals debut early in the season, look for Vaquero to lead the NL Rookie of the Year (ROY) contenders. Because Vaquero is slated to start the year at a developmental academy in the Dominican Republic, many betters might overlook his potential to contend for ROY. If you're looking for a high-upside ROY candidate, Vaquero should be among your baseball picks.
  • C.J. Abrams: one of the top prospects last year, Abrams couldn't make his Padres debut due to a lingering hand injury. Now that Abrams is healthy and has an extra year of Minor League development, look for him to become a major contributor this season. Although many betters are valuing Abrams's talents, some are questioning his path to a starting role in the Padres lineup. If Abrams can improve his batting average and limit his fielding blunders, he will surely be one of the top baseball picks for ROY.

Emerging Stars

If you're hoping to place some speculative baseball picks on players to lead the league in major batting or pitching categories, these prospects should be on your list.

  • ERA: the Reds' right-handed hurler, Hunter Greene, might just be the linchpin of one of the most improved pitching staffs in the National League. If Greene can correct his sometimes erratic pitch placement, he has a shot be among the NL leaders in ERA. Because Greene is a rookie, you can take a flier on Greene and recoup a major profit if he's able to beat the odds.
  • Batting Average: the Rangers' Josh Jung might be the most efficient young hitter in the American League. Because the Rangers already have power hitters in their lineup, Jung will be asked to make contact and capitalize on scoring opportunities. If Jung can get off to a hot start as he has at every level, look for his batting average to be among the AL leaders.
